The Hanover Resolutes Base Ball Club is being formed in the Richmond and Hanover, Virginia area for the purpose of reviving the noble game of base ball as it was known in the 19th century.

With wood bats in hand, no gloves upon the field, underhand pitching, period-style uniforms, and gentlemanly conduct, the Resolutes seek to honor the early spirit of America’s national game.

We welcome men and women from all walks of life who hold a love for base ball, history, fellowship, and the pride of local community. Whether you wish to take the field as a ballist, keep the score, assist with matches, offer support, or simply learn more of the old game, there may be a place for you among the Resolutes.

This club is more than a team. It is a gathering of people who believe that history is best remembered when it is lived, shared, and played upon the field.
